The Dark Peak is a huge expanse to explore, and the Ordnance Survey mapping of this area is superb. I have used it mainly for walking and fell running trips on and around Kinder Scout - details of rock formations and boundaries are accurate and the map detail very clear. The added bonus of ordering an "Active" map means that I have been able to take the product with me in the very worst of the weather that Derbyshire can throw at you, without the paper disintegrating! It has also proved useful in various other guises - windbreak, picnic blanket, hail-shield...
