Britain's best loved fellwalker never travelled abroad but each year for over forty years he undertook a journey north of the border to Scotland. In 1987 Wainwright invited the television broadcaster, author and documentary film maker, Eric Robson, to join him as he revisited many of his favourite places.
During a memorable summer together they travelled from Cape Wrath to the far north on a journey that included the Isle of Skye, the Torridon mountains, Glen Coe, the Cairngorms and many other special places.
The director is Richard Else, whose credits include the classic Wainwright televison series, Wilderness Walks, The Edge and The Face amongst many other successful productions.
Format: Region 2 (This DVD may not be viewable outside Europe. Please check its compatibility with your device before ordering).
This also comes with a bonus DVD, The Cairngorms.
